The short answer is no.

Long answer.
Now we know there are two types of planets, Rocky Planets like Earth Venus etc: and Gas Planets such as Jupiter.

1) Rocky Planets: It is impossible for any rocky planet anywhere in the universe to be as big as a star because there is just not enough rocky material to have a rocky planet that large.

2) Gas Planet: If a gas planet could get that big then it wouldn't be a planet any more it was be a star or proto-star in its own right.

So again answer is no.

The Milky Way Galaxy (our galaxy) contains over 300 billion stars, many are similar to our sun. We have already discovered over 300 planets circling other stars in our galaxy. Planet formation seems to be a common occurrence. everywhere we look.
