Depreciation @ 10% = 200 $
Considering these two the payback will be more than 100 years. (20000/(480-(160+200))
It only means that purely on economic terms Solar installation is not cost effective.

Only the liberal left and their media claim that it will take 10 years. The oil companies say it would be a much shorter time. Depending on the area talked about they say 2 to 3 years on the Southern CA coast and gulf coast of FL. 4 to 6 years on the Atlantic coast, Northern Pacific and Anwr.

Yes we would not have had such an energy crisis this summer had we been drilling 15 yrs ago in Anwr.
Next summer will be just as bad if not worse than this last summer because we still have done nothing. Remember Obama did not think the price was to high but that it rose to fast. Obama plans on very high energy because he said he wants to bankrupt the coal industry.
Electricity is going to be very expensive and America very poor.
