To find the volume of an object, multiply its diameter time pi (3.14). The earth's diameter is 7,973 miles x 3.14 = 25,035. The moon's diameter is 2,160 miles x 3.14 = 6,782. Divide 25,035 by 6,782 and you get 3.7 moons could fit into the earth.

as a Pagan, I personally believe that my Mother Goddess IS the universe :)
the moon is only used as a symbol because it wanes and it waxes like the growing round of a pregnant woman and the phases of life.
