Of the three fields you mention, accounting is the one that has the most job opportunities. People who know accounting are always in demand. There's good pay in that field too (I should know - I've successfully worked in that field for 25+ years now).

What the AGW believers should be absolutely salivating at is the opportunity to test a (opposing) thesis.

If they are right we will get higher temperatures, wrong the temperatures will decline.

Here's a site I like to watch for sunspot information, because the people interested in the sunspots have no interest in global warming. (but they do have an interest in that when there are sunspots, our atmosphere reflects radio energy back to earth better.)
