Solar Pumping System

Brad Said:

What are the chances of a radio signal reaching past our solar system and not be garbled?

We Answered:

Intercepted EM would make no sense at all without the appropriate decoding schemes. An outworlder astronomer would see the Sol system impossibly bright as a nova in the radio and microwave, with 24-hr and 365-day intensity modulations. Said observer would need be looking in from about +/-10 degrees of the equator to catch the bright band of geosynchronous satellite spill and about +/- 45 degrees of the equator overall for First World civilization

Earth has been electromagnetically loud since at least the1940s. SETI then asserts there is nobody at all listening within at least 30 lightyears' radius.
