Solar Pool System

Joseph Said:

Alien life in our solar system? How many moons are unexplored?

We Answered:

Silicon life is pretty unlikely, as silicon reactions tend to be slow. But if you look at organic molecules, many of them have rings of atoms. Boron and nitrogen can form similar rings, so maybe there is boron-and-nitrogen-based life out there somewhere.

As for sulfur based life, all known life is carbon based, but some of these carbon-based life forms use sulfur. Some of these life forms are actually killed by oxygen!

Mars has a little methane in its atmosphere. This could come from a biological source, but that's just one hypothesis.

Jupiter's moon Europa has liquid water (more water than Earth!) under its icy crust. Maybe life could exist down there.

Saturn's moon Enceladus is geologically active and has jets spewing water into space.

You might enjoy watching this TED talk by Freeman Dyson. He suggests we should look for life even in the Kuiper Belt and Oort Cloud.

There are exoplanets known to be in the habitable zone as well. A gaseous giant in its star's habitable zone could harbor moons with life.

HD 28185b is a planet on the inner edge of the habitable zone of the star HD 28185, which is 138 light-years away in the constellation of Eridanus. Simulations of tidal interactions between it and its star indicate that it is possible for it to harbor a moon the size of Earth. However, there is no way to know if such a moon exists at this time.

Don't you know that Global Warming is really Solar System Warming and there is nothing we can do about it?

We Answered:

I've never heard this theory, but it doesn't sound out of the question. Infact, it sounds pretty reasonable. Do you mind posting some of your sources for us?

Also, I think CFC's and other emissions have a relatively strong impact on the immediate and local environments where they are being discharged, particularly in densely industrially populated areas. Would you still agree that regulation should still occur in certain places where there could be a local impact - even if it had no bearing on global warming?

the system you listed looks like a cheap variation of the real deals. I can tell you that a legit system with panels, control box and piping will cost you 3500 in parts alone... but if done right, these systems will last up to 25 or more years.. Look at fafco panels, and stay away from the revolution style panels... that is what we install and they last a long time and do a great job of heating a pool.
