The car would burn more gasoline overcoming the wind resistance of the turbine than the turbines would recover in equivalent power.

We Answered:

the alternator is always how the battery recharges but if you buy another battery you can allow for more voltage to be stored as backup. you can buy a higher amperage alternator and it will recharge your batteries faster and more efficiently but it will cause your car to be a little slower due to the extra force needed to turn the bigger alternator. but if your like me and cruise with your windows down system up riding slow and low than it would be the better way to go.
