Solar Cell System

Marshall Said:

The solar system is an Atom??

We Answered:

I like your thinking.

From that, you would have to expand it even further . . . . if the Solar System is an atom on a living creature then how big is it? How big is the world it lives in and what is it like? And the Universe that world lives in?

Or you could go in the reverse direction . . . . . . is there life on the things that we call Atoms, just like on our Earth? Is what we call "sub-atomics" their normal "atomics"?

Worth the thought me thinks . . . . . . . .

Adrian Said:

Ok. Solar cells. Let's say if i install the system, how much do i spend and save?

We Answered:

Here is how my system will save me money. I use an average of $2000 of electricity per year. My system cost $16K (I live in CA and I got a $10K rebate so they whole system would have cost me $26K) My system supplies me with about 75% of my energy, so my electric bills went from $200 ro $30 in the summer, I expect to produce less in the winter. I'm expected to break even in about 6-7 years, Taking in to account we are on a tiered system and I am now only paying the lowest rate for energy and in my area we average a 10% increase each year. My system is guaranteed for 25 years I will need to replace the transformer or something in about 10-12 years, but other than that I'm looking at 18 years of free electricity while others are paying dramatically more than we are now.

This is most beneficial if you intend to live in the house long term. We are about 8 years away from owning our home and are looking forward to a virtually bill free retirement.
