No, because science is based on observation and testing. All things scientific can be subjected to the scientific method. The Bible cannot be subjected to the scientific method so you can neither use it for scientific data nor consider anything it it to be fact.

I am not saying that there aren't facts in the Bible, I am just saying that from a scientific perspective the Bible has no part whatsoever.

If anything, you need to take the Bible within the historical context that it was written. How would people of those times, without telescopes and satellites have the faintest idea about the solar system?
