Well if you can combine some LEGO - toys with a couple of balls made of polystyrol. The tricky part is to build a kind of transmission to have all the planets circle around the sun in a believable manner.

well maybe you can take each one of the planets and make it with newspaper or some sort of paper and paint it to the way that it is supposed to look and then for saturn you can take a wire and put it around it just put the wire through the piece of paper and then around it.

well if you want the planet to actually orbit the center(Sun) at the same rate they actually orbit with respect to each other you'll need to make a one heck of a complex gear system and you'll have to make some slower and others faster, for example for each rotation of the Earth Mercury will have to have made several orbits and the outer planet will have to only start their orbit. It's not impossible just hard.
