In that case, it really depends on which state you are in, size of a system (amount of water produced) and performance (its solar contribution).

The better performing systems, or the ones that make the most effective use of the sun's energy, attract a higher rebate.

a pump puts cold water though solar panels on your roof then water from the solar goes to a heat exchanger heating the water in your domestic water tank. not really sure what your question is. theres a whole bunch of websites out there. and whole kits you can buy for this purpose.

I've tried to seal all points where the hot water system goes

into the roof but this hasn't stopped the leak,

and I can't see where the leak actually is.

I'm wondering if I have to cut a hole in the ceiling to try find

the leak or is there a product I can apply to the area that will

provide a temporary seal until I can get a plumber in?
