I have seen these but never used them. Reason was the cost. I needed to add a 2nd much larger pump to my pool to get the water to the roof. You can do the same thing by building a box on a angle with PVC pipe and painting everything black. As long it is in full sun the water will get warm. I considered running pipe into my shed to capture the heat from the shed, but never got around to doing it. I just use a solar blanket. Does a decent job.

I would have reservations about being able to heat your house completely with this unit. Right now where I'm at it's about zero with no sun and last night it was 10 below zero. You would be drawing no heat from this when it's cloudy or at night. It might help on a sunny day but I doubt it would totally heat a average size house in the dead of winter.
