Perry Said:

garden pond question! please help!!?

We Answered:

Yes, a fountain pump can be used for a waterfall. You will just have to buy one with moe power. You can go to any garden or hardware store (Home Depot, etc.). Check out their fountains. They usually sell the fountains separate from the pumps. The information on each fountain will tell you what size pump you need to get. This will give you an idea of the size that you need to pump the amount of water and the distance that you want.

Good Luck!

Pond Pump?????????????

We Answered:

Sorry, no such thing exists. You could always put in a gas powered generator but in the end you might just be better off finding a way to run AC power out to the area where the pond is to be located.

Solar powered pond pumps are not yet perfected. Often they work for a very short time and more times, they do not work at all. Run your pump off a 12 volt battery or regular electricity.
