The words "solar oven" were rather specific. Just what you consider a "solar unit" is another matter. Just what is your goal: heat, electricity, or is it still a way to cook food using the sun?

I am also sure you know what you mean by a "village house." But this is also unclear. Are you simply referring to a house that is in a village or is this something more like a community dwelling shared by the entire village that may have some specific usage.

Why are people of Rajashan waiting for an Amabani to do what they themselves can easily do? For ambanis it may not make business sense to think of a solar unit, when they have to sell their Petroleum products and have planned their power stations on Gas, a resource which they themselves are harvesting. But we do not have to wait for other to do what we can easily do. If china can produce solar panels , so can we. But we have to spend resources on R / D and provide incentives for it. It is because of incentives only, that Reva, only Indian Electric Car sells more units in London [ source media report ] than in New Delhi.
Gujrat State is planning a solar power plant. Smallter plants are coming up in many areas of India, but on a very little scale, and they do not make news. Soar Photo Voltaic cell manufacturing in India is on a very low scale.
