Solar Power Solar Panels

Seth Said:

What kinds of backup power do solar panels have?

We Answered:

When you have solar power, you are hooked into the electric grid, just as you were when you got all your power from the electric company. When you need power, they sell it to you. When you have a surplus, they buy it from you.

solar panels or solar power?

We Answered:

Solar power is the power which can be extracted form the Sun. As we all know Sun releases a vast amount of energy every minute and we are not in a position to utilise it. Of course our Human race have been using the solar power to a limited use for drying the grains, drying their clothes etc. As we started to understand the science behind it we stated using solar heaters for cooking and heating water etc. Now the third generation of understanding has evolved into making a solar panel, which is photo voltaic cells made form a particular element which can release electrons when Suns energy is directed on to it. With this understanding we are able to generate electricity from the power of Sun. But it is ot much and we are awaiting the 4th generation where in some break through in technology will help us to harness more power from solar.

about solar panels how to manufater solar panels& wind power?

We Answered:

Make your own solar panels and wind turbine. Costs me less than $200 to make mine. Well it wasn't as good as the ones you buy, but it sure did save me quite a fair bit of energy and money.

What kinds of backup power do solar panels have?

We Answered:

Not completely sure what the question refers to. I guess that what the question means is: How can energy from the solar panels be stored, so it is available when there is no sunlight? Solar panels produce no electricity when there is no sunlight.

The electrical energy is usually stored in rechargeable batteries, that are similar to automotive batteries.
