Christians believe in prayer to help the sick and disabled, and travel to Lourdes to be *healed*
People go to the wailing wall, to be helped and healed, especially if doctors have said there is nothing that can be done!

Many people end up turning to this sort of thing because science cannot cure them of their ailment.
You and science may not believe it in, but what's the harm if they believe it and make sure they also seek the correct medical help and the child is not being neglected or being abused?

Apart from people withholding treatment like blood transfusion because of religion (That I don't agree with) there is nothing wrong with seeking prayer or going to holy places, as long as you make sure you get medical advice first!

I am not a christian or very religious by the way, but believe people should be allowed to use alternatives a long side medical help.

I don't think people should be so blind and ignorant that they use nothing else, or do nothing other than waiting for *god* to save them, but if these people have sort medical help and choose to pray and believe in devine help from a solar eclipse then let them!

This only made a story because they are in (Edit: pakistan) and are probably seen as *uncivilised*

If these were respectable American christians or jews I don't think it would such a big deal, seeing as people go every year to Lourdes and it doesn't make a big headline!


It doesnt make them bad parents either, as long as the kid is being looked after correctly.
Money, health insurance and payment for treatment is also not exactly world class over there. One has to be well off in order to get very good health care!

My friend sends money every month to India for example for her friend's grandchild.
£40 can send her to school for 2 months, and £20 would pay for 2 dentist trips!

You forget that these people may not have any other choice, that doesn't make them bad parents either as you don't know their situation and what they may or may not have done!

You need a dynamo it has a tiny wheel inside which touches the wheel and when the wheel rotates the dynamo's wheel rotates.

The wheel is connected to copper coils which gets charged and produces electricity from the friction. The electricity is used to power lights in a bycycle.
