Nuclear power plants use thermal energy (convection and cunduction) and turn it into kinitec energy (The heat from the rods in the reactor heat water, which is piped through more water to generate steam pressure, which is ran through a generator to create electricity); hydroelectricity is kinetic energy that is turned into electric energy; a motor turbin is chemical potential energy into kinetic energy into electric energy; and solar is radiation into electric energy.
