Try prying into the industry for this. This question is very vague. What type of solar panel? Is it scaled up to manufacturing production? Is it being made on an R&D line.

It's cheaper to produce in bulk most of the time, so obviously a plant at higher volume will be more efficient, possibly using less energy.

Depending on your location, the panels must be cleared of dirt, snow, and bird droppings to maximize their potential.
