Yeah, thats what you Europeans have been saying for the past, oh, 30 years. It still hasnt paid itself off yet. And here in America, most homeowners sell their homes after only 5 years.

Costa Rica. I've looked into this place (Laguna Pacifica) several years ago as a destination. Paradise. Go for Costa Rica.

Last I checked up on these things, Costa Rica has one of, if not, the highest literacy rates, it has universal health care, and no government money is spent on military. Everyone who wants to work in Costa Rica is working, so it is a kinda really nice place to be, if you like such simplicity which I do.
