Yes. They make a portable solar powered cigarette lighter. It's called a magnifying glass. They do make solar cells that have a 12 volt plug receptacle in RV/Trailer magazines and catalogues. They are expensive. They also have solar/hand crank/ac/dc/battery powered radios that have plug ins to recharge cell phones. Radio Shack (and other places) sell them.

Your calculator requires very little power whereas air conditioning units require significant amounts of power. The power that can be generated by current solar panels is not enough to offset the power used by even a small compressor. It would be possible to carry a battery powered one that would recharge over a long period of time, but more likely than not, you'll be dragging around a huuuge battery.
