It is not too hard to install a system if you get a kit system. The only problem is the upfront cost but it does pay you back after so many years. Even without grants or incentives. And you are not renting your power and can sell the system with you home when you move. That way it pays for it's self in free electric and you might even make more money from the home sales because it has solar on it.
