Solar Panel Installation Courses

Vicki Said:

i have a construction question?

We Answered:

The Solar Living Institute in San Francisco is probably the prime training source (see the links in the article below):

You might want to contact them to find out about options closer to your area. Some community colleges have begun to offer such training as well. Both solar and wind turbine installations are a great field to get into at this time. With your previous experience you should have a leg up on a lot of people who are trying to start from scratch in the field. Best of luck to you!

Online school for construction management?

We Answered:

I have done extensive online research looking for the same thing. I did find only three REGIONALLY ACCREDITED degrees that offer undergrad degrees related to construction online. The first is National University in California which offers a BS in construction engineering technology. I wouldn't recommend this school because it is not recognized by ABET or ACCE. The second is Old Dominion University offering a BS in civil engineering technology TAC/ABET. The third, which I would recommend, would be the University of southern Mississippi offering a BS in construction engineering technology TAC/ABET and ACCE accredited. Your credits should easily transfer to this school since your curriculum is similar. This is where I am attending and would recommend it to you.
