While there may not ba any commercially available solar panel car available to the public, there are people installing or expanding there home solar arrays to handle the full needs of recharging electric vehicles that are being produced. These range from the Volt to the Tesla.

With solar carports at both ends of the home to work commute electric cars can have quite a range.
