source it is not "clean", as for your toilet legal as long as you follow the
proper codes for a field. electric is legal as long as it follows proper codes.
are you getting an idea here, everything has codes. all municipalities will
sell you a local code book, in it will be references to other code books.
certain communities like the amish have their own codes.
just follow the rules and common sense and enjoy your green life.

The low voltage side of the amplifier probaly uses 9 to 12V.
