Here's what's going on - Liberal Democrats LOVE the global warming theory because they have been wrong about so many things for so many years. This is something they can't be proven wrong about yet.

(You notice how they changed it from "global warming" to "climate change" because every time it got cold Al Gore couldn't explain why. Climate change covers his theory in case it gets cold again.)

I'm a Mechanical Engineer and enjoy it, but it is a broad field. To do reseach and development (more interesting), you have to specialize beyond that into Aerospace, Astronautics, etc.

Actually, the BIG thing right now is Systems Engineering. We've always had the development skills, but effectively harnessing them has always been an issue. The Japanese have a good handle on this. I'd say focus on this because this is where the revolutionary thinking of the future will come. Everybody has ideas, but putting the right ones into motion will drive the future.

3. A bed that you can change the temperature on. So if you're sleeping and you get really hot, you can make your bed cooler or vice versa. Haha, i'm not very good at coming up with ideas!

Well given that these tough little rovers are something like 5 years past their expected life span of 90 days, they have done remarkably well. This was only possible because of the people who designed and built the rovers had excellent talent and used good parts.

Mars is a hostile place with sub freezing temperatures for most of the year, lots of blowing dust and sand to clog wheel bearings and cover solar panels. Again, they are a testament to the people who made them.
