Rosa Said:

interested in solar power for my home?

There is many companies that can help like >

Do some web surfing and you'll find many companies and hopefully some in your area. They will also have the latest info on government rebates etc !

I'd go with a combo solar/wind system so you have power no matter the weather !

.........::::::::::Solar cell:::::::::...........?

We Answered:

good question...
the next big advance could be an energy source that renews itself...
i want to see a laser beam onto a solar panel charging a battery that fuels the laser and also my car, and one for my house too would be great.

this is probably not going to happen for many reasons and there is probably another way to achieve this goal of a self charging battery.
but this is a good example of how we could make a good energy source.

Gabriel Said:

How do we apply for commercial grants & tax credits for solar conversion systems.?

We Answered:

If you're in the US, it's unlikely that you'll get any help for off-grid.

There's a site that lists the grid-connected incentives by state,

What impact does solar energy have on the politics?

We Answered:

You could talk about how it has become a selling point of the politicians. Some want us to keep on drilling while they're raking in the money. Others are opened to new ideas.I've noticed those of us who don't own a lot of oil tend to be open to these new ideas. Solar energy, clean, totally renewable. Never runs out! Wonder how it can make the rich richer?

How much does it cost to make a short commercial?

We Answered:

Trust me - the cost of making the commercial is trivial.

More important is how much the TV station will charge you to show the commercial.

It's cheap - at 3 am.

It's expensive at 4 pm (when your target audience are home from school)

The price is different for the same number of showings on a small local channel vs the ABC, CBS, NBC station. The station that wins the ratings race gets to charge the most.

Just get a camcorder (might want to call a rental center to inquire about renting one) and plan on using 'employees' to make the commercial so you dont have to pay actors wages.

You might also:

- Inquire about a newspaper ad
- Call a local Radio Station about radio ads
- Call your local TV station about running your commercial

This will be a huge education in itself. Advertising agencies exist to do this for companies because it's so complex.

Discuss It!
