I don't remember exactly how this person did it, but I was watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition one day, and this boy that lived in a Native American reservation actually made solar panels out of soda cans so he could help his family lower the heating bills.. I KNOW it sounds crazy, but it worked for them!
