I don't know of any unique ways like you're thinking of. Solar power isn't efficient enough to charge a battery of that size.

You can buy an adapter that converts your cars cigarette lighter port into a standard wall jack, and then plug you normal charger into it.

First you need to decide what appliances you want to use there. I would recommend propane heating and cooking to eliminate the big energy users. You can also find a propane refrigerator.

Figure out how many watts you need. Use compact fluorescent lamps to use less energy. If you want to watch TV, use a flat panel type and keep it small.

Let's say you will use 300 watts on average. So you need 300 watts of combined energy output from your solar panels and wind power.

Ebay offers great prices on solar panels and wind generators.

You also need a charge controller, also on ebay. Get one that can handle 25 Amps or more. This will prevent over charging of your batteries and damage from deep discharging

Get a few deep cycle marine type batteries rated at 100 Amp hours each. These can be found at your local car parts store or anywhere they sell auto batteries.

Next you need a good inverter. Look for one rated at a minimum of 300 watts constant output energy. Get one a little higher than what you need. For your purpose, you need a grid-tie type inverter so you can wire it into your circuit breaker box. Your cabin can be wired normally since you will use the inverter to tie it all in.

Tips:
First off, Charge of the Light Brigade (only one per deck), two more beastwulf, one more Celestia and one more Honest
Two, only one Lumina can exist in a deck (they're Limited). and Heavy Storm is Banned
Three, add bottomless, mirror force, torrential tribute, dark hole all professional players have them.
Finally, Plaugespreader, and grow up bulb for a tuner, they're the best when you're in a tight position.

There is stray ambient light in your description and it sounds as if it is adequate to produce enough energy in the solar cell to light your keychain. The lighting circuitry of your keychain is the other part of the energy equation you have no addressed. It's load is not exceeding the amount produced by the solar cell.

As for suntans, a lot depends on if the windows have any plastic coatings. Plastic filters out the UV radiation needed for tanning or burning. In theory you can get a suntan in a glass greenhouse, but more often people just get sunburned. It does take a bit longer too.

Many types of shades are around. Many filter light rather than block it. While your eye may fool you into thinking there is a lot of light filtered out, there really isn't. You may have more light luminescence per square inch with shades drawn during a sunny day than a light bulb emits at might. Your eyes are great at compensating for such changes.
