It should be possible, yes.

The panel/battery needs to supply a voltage at least as high as that provided by your l.e.d. driver (which you can discard).

If it supplies much more than the driver does, then you will need to either place an extra resistor in series with the l.e.d. or increase the value of the one which is already included (it may be inside the driver).

You need to understand Ohm's law and how to drive l.e.ds.
