Nicholas Said:

How would god react by us thinking there are aliens?

We Answered:

That is a very complex question which probably won't get answered here. At least not to any level
of "final" satisfaction.

Look at it this way---the Bible doesn't mention any people, creatures or life-forms on any other planets. Science fiction does that. Ever notice how people back in the 1400s and 1500s rarely mentioned or even thought about extraterrestrials? Only since humans started getting off the ground and made advances in science did we start on this.

Back to my earlier point-the Bible doesn't talk about them, we're not sure if they exist, & you would be better off putting your mind into more realistic things...

Warren Said:

A few ideas for space travel, plz tell me what you think?

We Answered:

Something similar to your first idea was considered by NASA, only it would land on the ground instead of orbit Mars. There, it would manufacture fuel for the return trip when living astronauts arrived later. It was called the Mars Plan while still being considered.

Your second idea is a pretty close match for a Bussard ramjet, which collects interstellar hydrogen using some sort of magnetic net, and fuses it to accelerate faster. The concept was invented by, who else, Bussard.

Solar sails have been considered, as well as several forms of nuclear propulsion. Antimatter is not yet a real possibility since we lack the ability to produce more than a few subatomic particles at a time. Nuclear propusion seems the most reasonable way to travel space, since it generates the most energy.
