There is no science behind this. The Mayan calendar RESTARTS in 2012, much like our Gregorian calendar restarts every January 1st. Even if the Mayan calendar did end on Dec 21, 2012, that doesn't mean the world is going to end on that day. There are plenty of theories that an asteroid will come and hit the Earth and that day, but there is no supporting evidence. There is no supporting evidence of any kind that the world will end in 2012.

None.

Are you looking for missing mass for Dark Matter? It's hard to imagine, but billions of comets does not add up to the mass of the Sun. The Sun still has 99% of the mass of the solar system. Most of the rest of it is Jupiter. The mass distribution follows a power law. The math is well understood.

Solar systems dynamics simulations suggest that most solar systems eject a planet during formation. So there should be as many rogue planets out there as solar systems. None have been detected as yet. It's not for want of trying.
