Led Lighting For The Home

Darryl Said:

Where can i find LED lighting for my home?

We Answered:

you are honestly going to be paying a ton of money for leds. while leds are extremely effiecient they havent caught on enough in the market to be affordable. power compact lighting is what i would choose they're efficient, affordable, and dont give off to much heat.

i'm talking about the bulbs that you turn on and they have to warm up till they get their full color. the normal incandescent replacements are usually the screw shape. they are self ballasted.

Lucille Said:

Have you tried those new LED light bulbs for home use?

We Answered:

I have LED floorlights. They're ok but the light is pretty sterile. I'm sure there are better ones for use in room lighting.

Jerome Said:

Are there good stores in Colorado for home LED lights?

We Answered:

Any Home Improvement Stores such as Lowes or Home Depot have them on display.
If you don't find what you want or like -- look in the telephone book and find a Specialty Lighting/Fixtures Store in your area. Visit the Store in person. :)

Where can I buy led lights for my home?

We Answered:

Try the following companies. LED lights use a lot less power, last longer than conventional bulbs and help keep our planet green. Start by replacing bulbs in places that are inconvenient to change, require frequent changes, or require a ladder, such as ceilings. LED lights are preferred over CFL for security areas, as there is no lag in time for the light to be produced, or for cold area applications, where CFL's won't work.

Options for home lighting (LED Maybe?) + Automation?

how could you rent a place and THEN notice it doesnt have lights?
why didnt you check??
ohk, well. i have some experience with LED lights because i did a science pproject using them to grow plants, dif colour lights you see?
basically, the advantages of LED is that they come in all colours, they are really energy efficient. and others.

umm yeah but LED light can only travel straight, like, if you have them in a corner, you wont get much light except on the exact spot that its facing. i think they have fancier ones now that fix that problem but i dunno.
in my experiment, i had the lights but they werent shining on the leaf surface. all the plants died. lol.

but yeah, probs isnt much help, i'm no elecrician, i just thought cause no one else was answering...

you question looked lonely.
