Why aren't skyscrapers more vibrant colors?

We Answered:

Very good question and point. It comes down to costs. Most exteriors are composed of either concrete, steel, or glass. It is more costly to change the color of concrete then to use the natural color. Steel is, well steel colored. Glass is dark and reflective because it is cheap to heat a building (from human bodies and energy from electronics) then it is to cool it. Also, if you start using vibrant colors, then skyscrapers should be more interesting instead of being either circular or rectangular. This again adds more costs for architects. It is far cheaper to design a square, then stack copies of it on top of each other for a skyscraper. Also, due to lending requirements, most skyscrapers are not built without substantial preleasing requirements. Businesses are always looking for the best deal, so they will choose the best value - not necessarily the prettiest building.

To summarize, it is cheaper to standardize skyscrapers.

(yugioh) deck advice?

We Answered:

You need way more Lightsworns and less random Crystal Beast support cards. You need:
1-2 Ryko
1-2 Celestia
1-2 Wulf
1-2 Lyla
1 Garoth
1 Ehren
1 Aurkus
1 Lumina
1 Jain
2 Judgment Dragon
2 Honest

Add another Rainbow Dragon and a couple Gold Sarcs. Also add 2 more Solar Recharge. Take out all useless CB support spells/traps and the Rainbow Gravity's. Take out D Prison, Pot of Avarice, Compulsory, and Swords. Add another MST, a Giant Trunade, 2 Bottomless, Torrential, and Solemn J.

Any solar people out there?

We Answered:

If you can find a DC powered flickering bulb, then match a small panel with the same voltage and output as the bulb's input. It will work when the sun's out. If you want it to work at night, you'll need a battery.

If you can only find AC flickering bulbs, then you'll need a small inverter to convert the power from a battery to the 120V AC that the bulb is expecting to get. Maybe get a small riding lawn mower battery for storage or better yet a deep cycle type unit from a battery store like the ones they have inside UPS units for computers. You can find these at stores like Interstate Battery. Size the panel based on how long you're wanting to run the light and the bulb's wattage. If the panel is more powerful than like 10 watts or this is something you want to have setup for an extended period of time, I would get a small charge controller as well to ensure that you don't overcharge and damage the battery.
