Strangely it is true that we Indians can have in an average 1/3 rd of nutrition with respect to developed nations, and still having not a 3 times mortality rate for malnutrition. Here lies the truth of 100% assimilation of what we take. Thus wastage of food is not a much of problem if viewed macro logically. However, micro analytically we can see wastage of food in one scene and starvation on the other side simultaneously. To overcome this difference is a herculean task and in reality, hardly could be done something considering individual, local, regional and national shortcomings. Indian people are however naturally sincere to not waste food and drinks, as they are exposed to poverty and starvation scenario almost everyday. Indians also believe that food are written for a person taking it. (Dane dane pe likha hua hai khane bale ki naam). They take care of that and are more charitable in food than that of clothes and money. More caution can however save more number of lives. Rooms or scopes are still there to improve from the grim situation.
Saving power, energy, water,heating earth, are also of considerable concern, and we should improve ourselves in these areas also to leave for our next generation a better world with sufficient resources to enjoy their life.
