Lawrence Said:What is the best brand of above-ground solar pool heaters for the price?
We Answered:You can search for Solar Pool Heater in Price tracking websites and get the best price for the product and from that you can select the best brand which have more number of positive reviews. I think this way you can search for similar products as well.
Reginald Said:solar pool heater for inground pool possible with a pool floor cleaner thing?
We Answered:You should be alright. The floor units should act in the system just like any other kind of floor drain or skimmer. Also, the solar heater should tie in by itself or if it is included in the original system, it would be right after the filter. so your cleaning unit should be irrelevant.
Felicia Said:Any experiences in regards to solar pool heaters?
We Answered:My parents used a solar cover as the primary heat source for 2 different pools. 1 above ground and 1 in ground, both in Michigan. The in ground pool averaged about 82 degrees F most of the summer and much higher if the cover was on most of time in sunny weather.

Tracey Said:can i build a solar pool heater and how?
We Answered:The others answering this question alluded to this, but the best way to do this is to run piping on your roof. Your piping from your filter is probably 1 1/2 inch piping. You will need a splitter from 1 1/2 inch to two 3/4 inch pipes to run it on your roof. The reason for that is that there is too much water running too fast in an 1 1/2 inch pipe to really make a substantial difference. Then run 3/4 inch poly pipe (black) across your roof starting at the peak, then going back and forth across your roof down to the bottom. You will need adapters at the ends of the roof because the pipe does not bend that well. Get the same splitter as you started with except turn it around so that the two 3/4 inch pipes are rerouted into a 1 1/2 inch pipe and return it to the pool. This should heat your pool very well by just using the sun. Email me for more detail.
Terrance Said:Are solar pool heaters more effective mounted on a roof?
We Answered:if you are talking about the solar panels as the power source and the actual heating elements being in the pool..... check what the manufacturer recommends.... being on the roof, it is out of the way and not easily accessible to damage and out of sight.... but electronics and conductors do not like heat, so with a black roof and a hot sun may not be good .... solar panels work off the photons from light....not heat... maybe some place cool away from the chance of being damaged, aesthetic (pleasing to the eye) and with the most direct sunlight
Thank you PV gap for sharing about the Solar Pool Heaters also at essay site. There are several brands, depending on your budget only i can recommend, i have cheap one it works just fine wont recommend though.
