THE QUICK WAY IS TO CALL THE CITY BUILDING INSPECTION DEPARTMENT AND ASK THEM. THEY ARE THE ONES WHO WILL DETERMINE WHAT THEY WILL ACCEPT. IF THEY OVERRIDE THE STATE CODE, THE CITY CODE IS IT. THEY USUALLY WILL GO ALONG WITH DEED RESTRICTIONS OR HOME OWNER ASSOCIATION RULES THAT PREVENT INSTALLATION OR DETERMINE COLOR. ECT.
