If you decide to install, make sure you install enough so that when you are not using any electricity, that you can sell the excess electricity back to the electric co. That way the system pays for itself.

My system produces 5Kw whenever the Sun shines. It is built on towers and tracks the Sun through the day. This is the most efficient system. Roof mount are fixed and produce only a fraction of the energy I get.
ROI for me will be 10 years unless electric rates go up.
My electric bill has gone from $450.00 per month to $10.00 per month.
Cost of system? $70,000.00.
Bottom line? Green is keen but it ain't cheap!

read about solar heating for you home. If you have the money to invest in it then in the long run you will be glad you did. I read about a guy that got his housing costs down to nothing using that and other methods. Its worth it.
