Take a by cycle wheel without tyre. Fix six numbers plastic funnel on its outer that are used in petrol bungs. If you keep it on your house top horizontally it will rotate by wind.You can just fix a toy D.C motors usually available in any battery operated toys.Connect it suitable to rotate the shaft of that tiny motor. You can connect a L.E.D bulb.That will glow.Instead of cycle wheel you can connect it in plastic fan and show it under tap water .That will also rotate and produce energy to light up a L.E.D.

well solar energy is not totally effective in absorbing the maximum amount of energy put out by the sun (on average solar panels are only 20% aaffective)

and i guess disposing of them after they have become warn out is an issue filling up landfills maybe, i don't that's kind of a stretch.

To answer your question, no, I don't believe it.

"Unlimited storage cap" rings too much of hype. Also, the words don't match any product category I would expect. A camera isn't something that I expect to record solar energy -- and what does it mean to record it as a movie?

I expect this to be some kind of a joke, which, although strictly true, has nothing to do with collecting solar energy for power purposes, a camera preserving images, a sequence of images forming a moving record of events, and perhaps a special sense of "unlimited".

Can you tell us more about this design?

Sorry, but the figures don't really add up. Your 1000 kg of fish (that's a metric tonne) will need to go into a freezer of around 1.5 cubic meter capacity. An industrial freezer of that size will need a compressor of about 1/2 hp or 400 watts running, with a much higher starting current. Solar panels in bright sunlight generate 70 mW/square inch or 10 watts/square foot. So on a bright day you will need an 8x5 square foot panel to run the compressor. Unfortunately fishing and bad weather go together, not to mention being at sea in the dark. To ensure the freezer is always being fed electricity you would need a very large battery and an inverter, as well as the solar panels. I suspect the captain of the ship would prefer to run the freezer off the generator which supplies electricity to the rest of the boat.

You could use a National Simple Switcher in a Boost configuration. Then use a pulse width modulator to give you the AC. However, unless you have lots of solar cells you aren't going to get very far.
