California has 5,000 windmills genarating electrical energy with wind that comes off the ocean to the west ,the deserts from the east. Arizona Has a lot of Solar panels generatring electricle power. The State of Arizona also have a steam generating plant from Solar energy. Experimentle should produce 2 kilowatts. This was built by a company from Spain ,Which has A Solar steam generating plant in operation last year in Spain. In Dubai where We send all our Dollars for oil ,The Shieck in charge is building buying solar equipment like mad. He intends to supply all the world with electrical energy making the Arabs super Mega rich. He said Why not on 60 minutes We have more sun then the whole world

Facing the house South or North depends upon which hemisphere you live in. In the Northern Hemisphere the Sun appears to move South in the winter, so you would want your solar panels and windows facing South to take full advantage of the sunlight. Ideally the North wall should have no windows at all (except for perhaps an artist's room) and it is even better if the entire wall is built underground.

I think things will get easier if Democrats drop the windfall tax profits part of the legislation. I don't see a reason to tax them more, but I also don't see a reason they need subsidies. Both parties need to give a little.

Drilling is fine, if it is balanced by a logical energy policy. One thing that should be taken into consideration...when a commodity is plentiful, it is wasted. Well, oil has a way of looking plentiful one year or for 5 years, but not the next year or 5 years. It's a roller coaster ride. We all know it is dropping now, but the decline in prices will be temporary. China and India will continue with exploding growth and the global oil supply overhead will continue to shrink, making it more expensive than it is now. There is little disagreement about that.

Democrats are trying to say, albeit politically, that if we concentrate on renewables with the current high price of carbon based energy, we will move to the alternatives faster and we'll be better off for it.

In the end, we need a plan to get off the roller coaster and help the environment at the same time. It will be long term, but beneficial to us all.

system design. No expensive pump or electricity needed for hot water circulation between panel and storage tank.
