Its a very interesting question because the laws of thermodynamics dictates that an unbalance is inevitable. Solar energy used today can come in 2 different types: heat (stand under the sun and you will feel it) and radiation. The heat balance in earth is a cycle that can be changed (greenhouse effect, due to contamination) but mass use of solar cells is unlikely to absolve a amount of heat to cause a important unbalance. Unfortunately the use of solar cells now days is a very ineffective process, probably we will need other sources of energy to compliment solar energy.
