I suggest you check into Geothermal. You can heat and cool using the ground as a source. and, you get free hot water heating when its running. unless u can put up a BIG wind turbine u can only make so much elect with wind. Its hard to generate enough power with solar unless u have LOTS (the panels take up lots of space) of room outside and good southern exposure.
You can also consider a Power Cell, but they are very expensive.

One large hydroelectric dam would produce more than enough power. A large field (a square mile or two) of concentrating solar arrays (with liquid salt heat storage for night and cloudy days) would power it during the summer, but you don't get enough direct sunlight in the winter for that. Wind depends entirely on how much wind there is, how fast it blows and for how long; every area is different. One nuke plant might be enough.

i only know of one thing related to ontario, and that is a solar company called Enerworks. they are based out of ontario and are north america's leading solar panel producer. i believe some of their dealers have installed systems in ontario as well. look them up.
