Solar Energy Israel

Chris Said:

What make Israel a developed country ?

We Answered:

Modern economy is based on KNOWLEDGE. Historically, Jews put great value on education. Realizing, men often die in wars, Jews were educating the women on par, for example. A Jewish boy begins to study when about 5 years old. By 10, he is likely to out-argue an average Yahoo! Q&A participant.

Over the last 2000 years in particular, Jews were legally banned from owning land in most places, so they had to "invest" in their brains -- working in crafts, arts, science, and trade.

Nowadays, when the agriculture is a solved problem and foodstuffs are abundant, the value of arable land plummeted, and the Jews are vastly ahead of many peoples...

P.S. US government also sends billions to Jordan and Egypt, for example -- not to mention Iraq -- but those countries remain rather far behind Israel in both standard of living and human rights.

P.P.S. Rich Jews certainly help, but their wealth does not compare with that of the oil-sheiks...

Christian Said:

Do you think that Israel has ambitions in the Arabian Peninsula?

We Answered:

They believe it's their right to have "From the Nile to the Euphrates" this means; Iraq, east egypt, part of saudi arabia and i think jordan too...but they won't get a single inch of those countries and we'll restore palestine too!

Kristina Said:

ISRAEL the #1 Environmentalist country in the World!?

We Answered:

Great post, thank you :)

Tracy Said:

I'm a proud friend of Israel (well sort of). Are you?

We Answered:

Yes, they have a lot to be proud of.

Bernard Said:

A simple plan for dealing with Iran that will most likely never be considered by those in power?

We Answered:

Solar energy is a drop in the bucket compared to nuclear power. Simply put, it is not sufficient to power such large things as a country or a town. At best, a quality solar power grid implementation would offset power cost and usage, and the system could take decades to pay itself back (might be worth it though).

Also, advances in solar technology have somewhat stalled. The most efficient methods to gain energy yield from solar power are probably almost final, maybe a new material here or there might increase it, but not by much. There's really little else to research in improving these systems.
