We Answered:

Yes it is viable If you replace a solar water heater instead of using common electric water heater, your monthly bill will come down drastically. All it cost around Rs.20000/ for 200 lit capacity. In Coimbatore one concern namely,Udya Krishna semi conductors producing lighting equipment for domastic use. One time installation cost is high but eventually you can save.
