LOLOLOLOL. Solar energy will be more available once people are willing to spend lots of money up front to buy and install solar panels. As to the solar panels orbiting the sun, yes we could build them and put them in space, but there is no reliable way to get that energy back to earth. Just because you can harvest the energy doesn't mean you can get it somewhere useful. As for the nonrenewable resources, the ones that most people worry about replacing are the types that are the hardest to convert (cars and large powerplants). Also it would cost about 5 times what NASA is currently getting for funding.

You will not be able to educate people who don't want to be educated.

The first thing that has to be done is change how people think about solar energy.

1. It is easier to talk down something then to get the facts.

2. Too many people that don't have solar energy and have never used it and has no clue of what is going on is talking too much and confusing others to the facts.

3. Most people will not do the math to understand that solar will pay you back.

4. People are lazy and it is too much trouble to mess with getting a loan no matter how much it helps the world and their grand kids.

5. The older folks say why should they bother being they will not be around long enough to see a pay off or they will be gone before it kills out the rest of the world.

6. Why pay such a larg up front cost when all I have to do is rent from the public utilities and have nothing when it is all said and done but a stack of paid utilitie bills.

7. Why buy a solar electric system that will pay for it's self two or three times over in the system life time.

8. People don't understand that they could over thirty years save enough money to pay for a solar energy system and buy a brand new corvette.

9. Working 12 hour days 6 days a week to pay bills is just normal life .. it has been this way all their lifes and see no need to change now.

10. Why would they want to make their lifes easyer or better the lifes of the whole world?

The list go's on and on and on. But what it really comes down to it is people are lazy. It is something that requires a little thought and people are just not willing to put out that much effort.
