Solar, wind, nuclear, and geothermal energy help?

Hey Orihime, there is not a lot of that out there, I've been researching myself. As much as I hate to quote wikipedia, they have a good discussion, and even a graph from back in 1948. You can go to their website and search for, "Renewable Energy Use in the U.S." One interesting thing to note is that while total renewable enrgy use has gone up, it's use as a percentage from about 1950 to 2000 was actually declining, because our overall use of energy was climbing so fast. Remember when Gas hit $4.00 a gallon, that was when we peaked out, and have been slowly trending the other way since then. There are some other websites, mainly non profit groups that promote renewable energy worth checking out, I'll list them below. You might also take a minute and click on my avatar, then look at my list of answers. You'll find some other questions along this line with answers from other people as well that might help you out. This is one of my favorite features of Yahoo Answers. Good luck, and take care, Rudydoo
