Slogans On Solar Energy

Geraldine Said:

What is a catchy slogan for a Hover shoe?

We Answered:

The shoe that is good for the air and lighter than air. :)
[doesn't pollute with bateries or exhaust and hoovers]

Jimmie Said:

I need some help with a slogan for a person that running for town consil, based on what he is running on?

We Answered:

Have you stopped and thought about how expensive it would be to have him win?

The things you list would bankrupt any town or city.

The only green I see in your list is the greenbacks this guy would sock the taxpayers with. I personally believe in less government; not one inclined to be so intrusive.

I suggest:

"Vote for Stephen Mosca; He'll take your green and leave you in the red."

Danny Said:

We Answered:

Hydropower - Got Water?

Wind power - That was windy.

Solar power - The sunny side of life.

Tidal energy - Energy now knows no season.

Biomass energy - Not always so corny.

Joshua Said:

We Answered:

Use the sun, not a gun.

Jim Said:

Indians: Are we having any distant vision apart from general Development slogan?

We Answered:

No, I dont think we are having distant vision. most leaders in this country are b-grade and foresight cant be expected of them. Visionary is a word can hardly be associated with todays' leadership.

Most of the present mess is due to yesterday's lack of vision.Be it Kashmir or telengana. And after 50 years also these issues will be in the same quagmire because today also they are handled inefficiently without thinking of the consequences 20 years later. The way these 2 issues are being handled can you say with confidence that after 20 years also there will not be some agitation/demand coming up?

Same thing can be said of the economic front also. Once we practised socialism to the point of suffocating redtapism. One day we took an about turn and adopted liberalisation? But there are positive & negatives of both systems and only when it will be adapted acc. to our system then only it will give result. Today also we can never be sure how too much globalisation will affect our future? Already an US study has predicted that globalisation will widen the gap between rich and poor. And in case of a poor country like India are we adopting globalisation with enough caution?

This is just a general overview , not the actual answer to your question since I hv nt touched the cases mentioned by you.

I agree with you that very few leaders/administrators look ahead while taking a decision. If they plan anything for the future it is for their son or daughter's career.

EDIT: The reason I did nt go into details is stats or economy is not exactly my field. I often agree with Disraeli on his definition of statistics: There are 3 kinds of lies - lies, damn lies and statistics.

That no one can see the results is enough proof of your point. One reasson of development miscarriages is probably too much political interference in every move. "Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it whether it exists or not, diagnosing it incorrectly and then applying the wrong remedy. "

As far as creating awareness is concerned those who belong to political parties will not accept your truth even if they know you are right. Knowing and officially accepting are 2 different things. Had you posted it in the Politics section you would have gotten much better response.

Creating awareness ? You think you have been unsuccessful in that? In the Yahoo Answers US 26,000,000 users visited YA n Dec, 2009 and 110,000,000 total visits (users + non-users) in same month. The YA India also cant be far behind in this statistics . What I mean is that lots of people read Q & A s though they may not participate. So I am sure you have made at least some people think.
