Andrea Said:

Renewable Energy, Non Renewable Energy, and the environment?

We Answered:

Most all energy comes from the sun, it is just you must wait a long time for the sun made resources to build up, like the fossil fuels from dinosaur times. So when we burn fossil fuels they are depleted faster than created. We do continue to find them from exploration. Wind and hydroelectric is also from the sun.

The orbit of Earth and the moon and sun contribute to tides. Energy can be extracted here.

The remainder of the energy comes from minerals, either heat drawn from beneath the earth's surface, or some highly refined minerals react and heat up (uranium). There is only so much heat that can be drawn from the earth too, a geothermal power plant essentially cools the earth, it takes a short period of time for it to heat back up, but it limits how big the power plant can be. Also, uranium is very dilute in Earth and requires processing much rock, about the same volume needed for an equivalent sized coal power plant. Processing uranium into plutonium agruably can make the nuclear fuel cycle essentially an indefinite supply of energy, but requires some maturity in the human race not yet demonstrated (da bomb).

It does not matter if you are electric or gasoline, both are energy forms that could either be renewable or non-renewable, ask your utility, the grudgingly give out this info.

Please conserve, I will do my part, you do yours.

Debra Said:

Funds for alternative, renewable, electrical power plants no byproducts omitted in to the atmosphere, land or?

We Answered:

I wish if you can make it short and more concise as I could not read it through to the end. Copy and paste it on a "word" page and let the editor show you all the spelling mistakes.

Timothy Said:

i feel like i am selling out intellectually joining the military?

We Answered:

1. You can still be an idealist in the military, just gotta work your way out to implement those ideals, either way requires realist working without giving up idealist mindset... not something most are willing to do, and it's the reason why the idealist sit at home and complain about the crappy state of affairs and the realist make the best of it.

2. If you feel so strongly like a sell out, then goto school, get a job in which you can do something about the problem rather than drugs and being apart of the problem.

3. Unfortunately if you get out into the world to change it, you will have to priotitize your ideals... I had to, but I never sold out what I hold as top priotities and I change what I can little by little. It's not perfect out here in the world, but it's better then a room at my grandads just 'hanging out" all day every day.

4. You do have a drug problem fyi. you are not addicted to the levels of those that they (the realist) use as examples of the harmfull effects of drugs. But anytime it is that hard to give up something that changes your mind is a mild form of addiction. [I.E. kids not wanting to stop watching tv, or play video games, or people wanting desert/sweets and not being able to give that up. Addiction to things that make us happy/calm is a natural thing, but don't lie about it. The small lies such as that is part of the reason this world is so corrupted]

Mildred Said:

Are those stupid little "clean coal" kids annoying you?

We Answered:

Yep. I think they should advertise "light" cigarettes as well. Maybe they could incorporate Joe Camel in the ad.

Caroline Said:

Where do I stand politically?

We Answered:

You're pretty liberal. Not all the way, but far more so that conservative.

Erika Said:

Which laws (and policies) should be implemented in the UK?

We Answered:

1) Immature and voyeuristic.
2) Takes no account of situation
3) And removal of licence.
4) Judges should take account of circumstances
5) Barbaric and does not work
6) Yes...which is already law. (Apart from the commune)
7) Definitely NOT. Abusive parents should not be given such leeway
8) Removal for insufficient reason is rare. Better that than to leave a child to be abused
9) Current law gives right of appeal.
10) Current law
11) no. Tackle it judicially. Occasional serious programmes. It would become 'routine'
12) Better loss of licence.
12a) How about medics, etc?

Too many to bother with further.
