Advantages For Solar Energy

Vera Said:

Solar Energy argument paper?

We Answered:

I would make it a priority to come up with the best argument. Solar may not be cheap now. In years to come those who invest in a well organized project well reap rewards Beyond their Imagination. So Research what it will cost, what it return in profits, energy ! Will there be a benefit to reducing carbon in the atmosphere. Comparing this to coal is a no brainier because I live in a area where 7 coal powered generating plants exist Wis,Ill. Indiana. I have bad asthma. My lungs know When they are really burning coal.Plus into the atmosphere they are pumping acids,Mercury, sulfates. The coal train carries hundreds of tons of coal through our town at night . People are constantly woke up in the middle of the night. So what are the benefits, costs, to the present generation, those in coming decades. What Will happen to the environment ? Good ,bad ,indifference. Spain has TECHNOLOGY producing steam with solar ,generating electricity. In their country And In Arizona. They are reaping rewards already in the USA. You would do this Nation A huge favor prompting a solution. So I urge you to get it done and continue through life.

what is the advantage and disadvantage for solar energy?

We Answered:

The primary advantage is it does not produce CO2 and other pollutants.

The Disadvantages:
1. Initial cost is much higher. Payback for the average is 15-20 years.
2. Unreliable - Only produces when sun shines
3. Area required - Very large area required relative to conventional
4. Depreciating efficiency - Panels degrade with time.

Wind has almost the same disadvantages, except depends on wind blowing.

In my opinion, Nuclear is a better option. No CO2, smaller footprint, Reliable 24/7 source of power. Wind and solar are great, but are limited to supplemental source only in areas that are practical for the type.

Solar Energy Questions?

We Answered:

Solar energy has 2 types: Solar thermal and Solar electric

Solar electric is the one that is most commonly referred to, and is sometimes called solar pv. Where pv stands for photovoltaic.

Solar is popular in many third world countries because it is very easy to install. Other forms of alternative energy, wind, hydro and geothermal require a significant amount of engineering.

One of the down sides to solar is that it is expensive and takes a long time to pay for itself.

good luck on your presentation :)

I recommend you review the website:

I added the content, and you are allowed to use it in your presentation if you would like :)

Has anyone ever considered finger against keypad as a source of kinetic energy for powering electronic devices?

We Answered:

this is a very good idea!
if you could devise a system, possibly electromagnetic, that generates small currents

Discuss It!
