you could take the effort to add up the power consumption of all those items, you can do it a lot easier than I can.

Why did you pick 5000 watts, it seems high, but I have no idea what an egg incubator uses. No lights in your list?

This can get very complicated. It depends on how many hours of direct sun you get per day, worse case. then you decide how many hours you want the batteries to operate on days with no sun. Perhaps not too many as you have the generator for those days.

Calculate how many watts you need, then I'd double or triple that number to allow for battery charging.

4 12 volt batteries are not going to handle that load for more than a few minutes, you will need hundreds of them.

Assuming 5000 watts, for 10 hours, that is 500000 watt hours. A large marine lead acid battery ($300) will hold about 1000 watt-hours, so that means you will need 500 batteries, a space and maintenance nightmare.



So, again, you need to do some careful power calculations, both daytime use and nighttime use. Then get back to me with your better numbers. Answer all the questions I posed above.
