In LA you have lots of incentives to use to cut your system almost in half. I know that if your electric bill was 100 dollars a month and being a solar electric system last about 30 years you will pay in utility bills about 36000 dollars in that time frame. So in LA you could get a system big enough to take care of your home and the house next door for that much. Then there is cost of living increases and fuel increases and taxes and on and on. You would spend 100,000 in 30 years easy when you could spend a forth of that much now and have it done and over with.
